In
January 2004, Northern Colorado's only rug hooking retail store
opened to the public. The Wool Basket, LLC is home for those people
who love working with wool and demonstrating their artistry through
traditional and primitive rug hooking, wool appliqué, rug
braiding, or those who want to learn. The Loveland store serves
not only eastern and northern Colorado, but western Kansas and
Nebraska, and Wyoming.
Wool
Basket, LLC stocks a complete line of rug hooking supplies, along
with gifts and collectable's. We carry a great selection of hand
dyed, tweeds, plaids, and herringbone, and 'as is' wool. The store
carries several types of hoops and frames, monk's cloth and linen
backing materials, cloth cutters, hooks, patterns, and more. Beginning
rug hooking classes are conducted each month. Penny rug classes
and rug braiding classes are also offered. Call for class schedules
and details. Rug hookers may drop in to hook together the third
Wednesday of each month from 1 to 4 P.M., and the second Saturday
of each month from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Information about our classes
is available in our newsletter.
